Spread the love

Boston is one of the most popular states and cities in the US. It is known for its famous baked beans, Fenway Park, The Boston Marathon, and its ever-thrilling nightlife. If you plan to make a 3-day trip to Boston, you will probably have a lot of fun in this city. I this article, I have compiled some of the best places to visit and activities to engage in while in Boston.

The order of how you will visit these places should largely depend on how you would like to have your fun. I would recommend visiting a maximum of 1 to 2 places each day if you really want to explore each place you visit fully. So, let’s get into our list;

Freedom Trail

This is one of the historical and iconic places in Boston that you can’t afford to be in Boston without visiting. Freedom Trail is a 4km-long path through downtown that has up to 16 historical sites that you can check out.

Faneuil Hall

This is another iconic building not only in Boston but the entire US. Faneuil Hall is the place where the Sons of Liberty used to sit to discuss independence from Great Britain during the 1700s. The place also has markets and many eating spots, so you won’t get hungry while there.

Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park

There are not so many places in Boston that are as beautiful as Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park. The peaceful gardens of this waterfront park will give you one of the best views of Boston harbor.

Visit Museums

If you want to learn more about the history of Boston and the US in general, there are a couple of museums in Boston that you can visit to get this knowledge. Some of the best museums that I can recommend include; Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Tea party Ships and Museum, and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum and Library.

Catch a game

One of the popular things known about Boston is its sporting culture. While in Boston, you can watch either Celtic (NBA) or Bruins (NHL). There are high chances that one of these two teams will be at home on the weekend you’ll spend in Boston.
